News
17th May 2026 – Annual Parochial Church Meeting – The 2026 APCM was held on Sunday 17 May at Seal Church after the 10am service, at approximately 11.15. Please see the APCM page for more details. The minutes of the meeting will be published there afterwards.
3rd May 2026 – Patronal Festival Latest news and updates here along with a request for some help on the day (5 July – please save the date).
22nd April 2026 – May events from Babs – Churchyard Working Bees days (7th, 15th and 23rd) and Muddy Sunday on the 17th.
19th April 2026 – a new Vicar for Seal!

We are delighted to announce that The Rev’d Dr Mary Styles is to be appointed as our new Vicar!
Mary’s licensing service/ceremony will be on Monday 27th July at 7.00pm. Please do save the date. More details to follow when available.

About Seal Church

We believe that everyone is loved by God and is part of his family. Whatever your background, age, ability, disability, gender or sexuality, whatever your level of faith or doubt, whatever the story of your life, we’ll be glad to see you.
We are registered with Inclusive Church and supports its aims and values.
Our ancient church is normally open during the day – many people use it – and the peaceful churchyard has beautiful views over the North Downs. It’s a great place to be, and a great place to be yourself.

Interregnum
As of 8th July 2024 there will be no vicar, so services and activities are being organised by volunteers and visiting Clergy. Please be patient if you need to contact us as it may take a few days to get back to you.
This notice which was received from the Diocese, is required to comply with Church of England procedures when there is no priest in post. Until an appointment is made worship will continue here every Sunday along with a wide range of other activities.
