Welcome to Seal Church!
I am Rev. Mary Styles, appointed “priest in charge” here at the end of July 2026.
We are an inclusive church community where we do our best to welcome and affirm everybody. We gather on Sundays to worship God together and during the week for smaller home groups that give us space to reflect on the Bible and encourage and support each other on our Christian journey.
We also have some special interest groups working on Eco-church and Inclusive church, those caring for the building and the churchyard. There’s also a group of bellringers and our regular choir. In addition, many of us are involved in the local community and beyond.
We’d love you to join us on a Sunday or in any other of our activities – and if you are new to church and faith – or have questions, I’d be happy to meet or chat on the phone, if you would like to get in touch. We believe that everyone is loved by God and is part of his family. Whatever your background, age, ability, disability, gender or sexuality, whatever your level of faith or doubt, whatever the story of your life, we’ll be glad to see you.
We are registered with Inclusive Church and supports its aims and values.
Our ancient church is normally open during the day – many people use it – and the peaceful churchyard has beautiful views over the North Downs. It’s a great place to be, and a great place to be yourself.
